Yorkshire Dales Workshop (UK) - April 20th to 24th - 2026
For our first workshop of 2026, the group travelled to the UK heading for the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We based ourselves in the beautiful popular tourist village of Askrigg. The weather was superb after a wet and windy start to the year. We explored Wensleydale and Swaledale visiting the highest mainline station in the UK. We started off in Hawes where we got to see the weekly sheep sales. Ribblehead Viaduct and Dentdale provided superb locations to capture images of part of the Settle to Carlisle railway which was celebrating 150 years of operational use. A selection of members’ images are shown here, which include both hand-held and drone shots.
The group was created in 2023 by a number of like minded amateur photographers seeking to develop friendships, skills and take photos in an informal and friendly environment.
